Han Ga-in addresses ‘overzealous mom’ controversy “People think I make my kids study excessively”
Yoo Jae-suk asked Han Ga-in about her daily life, acknowledging her busy schedule with parenting. Han Ga-in responded “Aside from filming, I’m just a mom” before carefully adding, “There’s something I want to clarify today.”
She firmly denied the notion that she pressures her children academically, “People think I make my kids study excessively, but that’s absolutely not true.” She continued, “They’re not the type of kids you can force to study.”
Han Ga-in also expressed her hopes for her children, “I only recently discovered what I truly like—after turning 40 because I never had the chance to explore when I was young. I want my kids to figure that out much earlier.”
She further shared her parenting philosophy, emphasizing a peaceful household, “I never argue in front of my children. I know firsthand how much of an impact it can have. I don’t even give my husband a sidelong scowl in front of them.”
